From 874164ece149aae045d54eb1349e7778f42baaba Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?UTF-8?q?Motiejus=20Jak=C5=A1tys?= Date: Thu, 24 Feb 2022 11:03:11 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] stop hardcoding go sdk version Turns out 1.17 is 1.17, but not 1.17.x, like I assumed previously. From now on, the builds will be non-reproducible and will depend on whatever the latest stable Go version is. This is better than me trying to remember to bump Go versions when patches come out. --- WORKSPACE | 7 +++++-- 1 file changed, 5 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/WORKSPACE b/WORKSPACE index 3fbf91a..c8360c6 100644 --- a/WORKSPACE +++ b/WORKSPACE @@ -22,12 +22,15 @@ http_archive( ], ) -load("@io_bazel_rules_go//go:deps.bzl", "go_register_toolchains", "go_rules_dependencies") +load("@io_bazel_rules_go//go:deps.bzl", "go_download_sdk", "go_register_toolchains", "go_rules_dependencies") load("@bazel_gazelle//:deps.bzl", "gazelle_dependencies") go_rules_dependencies() -go_register_toolchains(version = "1.17") +# use latest stable. +go_download_sdk(name="go_sdk") + +go_register_toolchains() load("//:repositories.bzl", "go_repositories")
